In trying to keep pace with the educational needs of students so they are prepared for productive careers in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, a group of highly qualified teachers and professionals have come together to create the Worldwide STEM Education Group. Coming from schools and businesses located in the United States, this group has been formed to provide professional development to teachers both in the United States and abroad.
Our first conference will be held in Cuba in June of 2017. The Minister of Education in Cuba is welcoming the group with open arms and supporting the endeavor by recruiting 100-150 teachers to attend the conference. This is a huge milestone for Cuban Education as well as the Worldwide STEM Group. Twenty teachers will present at the conference while supporting business partners will provide the engineering kits and supplies.
